Mongolia and South Korea got the Gold medals!

On the 12th of July, in the capital of South Yakutia the Closing Ceremony and the Awarding Ceremony of champions and prize winners in table tennis was held at “Gornyak” stadium.

The strongest sportsmen were congratulated by Dmitriy Dyachkovskiy - Deputy Chief of the region, Mikhail Derevyashkin - deputy of Il Tumen and Anastasiya Voronova - the Ambassador of “Children of Asia” Games.

This day everyone could hear national anthems of the winners – Mongolia and South Korea.

Athletes from Mongolia have won the biggest number of medals: 10 medals, including 5 gold.

South Korean tennis players have taken 4 medals, including 3 gold.

Russians have won 10 medals: the Far Eastern Federal District team – 6, the Ural Federal District – 2, Yakut tennis players Anastasiya Egorova and Gulnara Shchepetkina won 2 bronze medals among girls.
Mergen Delgermaa (Mongolia) Gundegmaa Indra (Mongolia),Song Minjae (South Korea) were the best tennis players. Each of them won 3 medals.

All winners got their medals handed, souvenirs, toy-mammoths. Song Minjae received a yakut diamond as a special award.

Chief Referee V. Ponomarev said: “South Korea traditionally has good results in tennis. This year we were excited by Mongolian sportsmen. I hope at 2016 Games we will discover new champions”.
